Note: A select list of employees in a student support role such as advisors can login using the 'Employee Login' link. Most employees will still use the OSU employee portal in MyOregonState.

Beaver Hub features an array of functionalities tailored to the needs of Oregon State University. Some of the key features for student support professionals are:
- Student profile — Easily access student details, including academic information, recent messages, tasks, alerts, and appointments.
- Case management — Helps students quickly resolve questions and locate assistance or resources.
- Appointment management — Set appointment availability, then view, schedule, manage, and edit once booked.
- Assist in completing actions — Create and apply “tasks” and “success plans” for individuals or groups of students.
- Notifications — Help all users be aware of tasks, deadlines, and issues needing attention.

Beaver Hub Remote Open Lab
Need some help in real time? Come join us in our Beaver Hub Remote Open Labs via Microsoft Teams Chat: Tuesdays from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm and Thursdays from 9:00 am - 10:00 am. Drop your question in the chat room and we'll answer it there, or, if you need a little extra help, we can jump into a Teams or Zoom call.
Eligibility Requirements
There are some conditions that have to be met for students to gain access to Beaver Hub. Please see below.
New Undergraduates
New undergraduate students who have an OSU Network ID (ONID) email should be able to log into Beaver Hub one business day after registering for START or Ecampus orientation.
All Other New Students
All other new students (ex. Graduate, Non-Degree, etc) can log in to Beaver Hub once they have been issued their ONID email address.
Inactive Students
A student who went inactive in a previous term will not have a Beaver Hub account available until their status in Banner changes to an active setting such as New Student or Returning. This may take a couple of business days.
Beaver Hub Deactivation
A student's Beaver Hub account is deactivated when their ONID is deactivated

Beaver Hub is replacing MyOregonState for students but not for staff currently.
There are some conditions that have to be met for students to gain access to Beaver Hub. Please refer to the Beaver Hub eligibility requirements.

Yes, if you belong to one of these groups: staff members in central student-facing offices, undergraduate advisors, student support staff, graduate program directors, coordinators and advisors. Individual graduate faculty advisors are not included.

Changing your time zone is really easy to do, just follow the directions below:
1. Go to your settings page
From the Beaver Hub Home Page, click on your name in the upper right corner.
When the menu opens, click on My Profile.
2. Set Your Time Zone
Locate the Time Zone field and click on it to open it.
Select the appropriate time zone. For West Coast USA students, select Pacific Daylight Time (America/Los_Angeles). For Central USA Students, select Central Daylight Time (America/Chicago). For Mountain USA students, select Mountain Daylight Time (America/Denver). For East Coast USA students, select Eastern Daylight Time (America/New_York).
If you live in Arizona or Hawaii, use Standard Daylight Time for a city in the United States.
Make sure to click the Save button at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Yes! You can create what's called a Temporary Connection. Temporary connections are good for 14 days from the time you create them. If yours happens to expire, however, you can always just add it again.
Before You Begin
Go to the Academic Advising website and locate the college that you need information from. Click the college link to go to that college's advising information. Follow website instructions to locate an advisor appropriate for your needs.
Once you've found that advisor, click their designated Beaver Hub appointment button/link.
If you're not already in Beaver Hub, you'll be prompted to log in.
Within Beaver Hub
You will be taken to the advisor's profile page.
Click their Temporary Connection button. This will take you to the advisor's appointment availability, where you can set an appointment.
