We’re excited to announce the launch of the new construction layer on the Oregon State University Campus Map. This new functionality is the result of a collaborative effort between UIT and our partners in DFA, including Space Management, Capital Project Delivery and DFA IT.
This new layer not only helps the OSU community navigate around active construction zones but also provides a description and links to additional information and details about each project. From infrastructure updates to transformative projects like the Jen-Hsun Huang and Lori Mills Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex, the construction layer brings visibility to the work shaping the future of the Corvallis campus. A planned future enhancement of this layer will include notifications about street closures, detours, and other information.
This feature is part of our broader commitment to accessible, modern, and inclusive digital experiences and complements other map integrations such as the OSU Beaver Bus system, dining locations and the events calendar to ensure a more seamless experience for all users.
